2009 Ohio Equine Affaire

Ed Crothers, The Equine Analyst & "Arctic Bright", Pure White TB 2yr old Stallion

Arctic Bright was born with the sabino gene, an elusive gene that makes white hair and pink skin a dominant trait.  This unique characteristic led to the colt bringing the top price for the day ($80,000) at the 2007 Keeneland Weanling Sale in Lexington, Kentucky.  Arctic Bright is also registered as Breeding Stock with the American Paint Horse Association.

Arctic Bright is a very charismatic horse that draws large crowds everywhere he goes.

Ed Crothers chose Arctic Bright for his Horse Breaking Clinic held in 2009 at the Ohio Equine Affair.

Ed's Clinic (90 minutes) started in the round pen working Arctic Bright on the lunge line, saddling, biting and finally mounting.  Ed finished the Clinic by not only riding Arctic Bright in the round pen, but also riding Arctic outside the round pen around the inside of Cooper Arena much to the delight of the crowd.

Please enjoy the slide show below highlighting the Clinic.
